Guess the World Championship game from who was winning, move by move.
Every decisive game from 138 years of World Championship matches, from Steinitz–Zukertort to Ding–Gukesh, in four eras. Draws are left out: a level strip from start to finish gives you nothing to read.
A long pale strip that suddenly goes gold is a slow squeeze that ended in a blunder. A short one that tips early is a crush.
What one band is. One band is one move. Ink means the engine favoured Black after that move, gold means it favoured White, and the paler the band the closer the position.

Three things to look for.
You do not need to remember the data. You need to know what kind of shape the thing you are thinking of would make.
- Find the turning move. The band where the colour commits is usually the decisive mistake.
- Count the moves.A game that runs past 80 bands was a long endgame grind.
- Know the era.All four options come from the same era of championship chess.
Chess is a $0.99 one-time unlock — or part of the $9.99 unlock that includes every category, now and later. It also turns up in the free daily puzzle.

Where do the evaluations come from?
Every position is evaluated locally by the Stockfish chess engine. The game moves themselves are public record.
Why are there no draws?
A drawn game is usually level throughout, which draws as a flat strip with nothing to reason from.
