Three things to look for.
You do not need to remember the data. You need to know what kind of shape the thing you are thinking of would make.
- Count the episodes.A 6-band strip is a limited series or a British season. A 22-band strip is network TV. The options are always seasons of similar length, so this narrows rather than solves it.
- Watch the last band.Finales are usually the greenest episode of a season. A pale finale is a clue in itself.
- Green is relative.The scale is set against famous television, so a 7.5 reads orange even though it is a good episode by any ordinary measure.
