Guess the classic novel from the mood of every chapter.
136 public-domain classics by 78 authors, split into six collections so you are always choosing between books of the same kind: the English novel, adventure and early sci-fi, American classics, gothic and mystery, European classics, and children's classics.
A tragedy ends in indigo. A comedy of manners ends in gold. A gothic novel stays dark throughout with a bright chapter or two where it lets you breathe.
What one band is. One band is one chapter. Indigo means the writing in that chapter is dark — loss, fear, anger — and gold means it is bright. The strip is the emotional arc of the whole book.

Three things to look for.
You do not need to remember the data. You need to know what kind of shape the thing you are thinking of would make.
- Read the last few bands. How a book ends is the strongest single clue. Austen ends bright. Hardy does not.
- Count the chapters.A long Victorian novel has sixty-odd. The options are always books of similar length.
- Look for the turn. Most novels have one chapter where everything goes wrong. Where it falls tells you a lot.

Does Huezle contain the books?
No. It ships only a mood score per chapter and the title — never the text.
How is the mood measured?
Every chapter of the public-domain text is scored for sentiment, and the score becomes the colour.
Source: Book texts from Project Gutenberg (https://www.gutenberg.org), which are in the public domain in the United States. Mood is computed with VADER; no book text is included in this app.
