Name the NBA game from who led, minute by minute.

Sixteen full NBA regular seasons, 2010-11 to 2025-26 — every game, including the lockout season and the bubble. Each season is its own pool, so team names are the ones they had at the time: the Charlotte Bobcats, the New Jersey Nets, the New Orleans Hornets.

Most games are not famous, so this is about reading the strip: who started fast, who came back, whether it was ever close.

What one band is. One band is one minute of the game. Navy means the away team was ahead at the end of that minute, red means the home team was, and near-white means it was close.

How to read it

Three things to look for.

You do not need to remember the data. You need to know what kind of shape the thing you are thinking of would make.

  • Away first.Options always read "away vs. home", so navy belongs to the first team named.
  • Spot the comeback.A strip that starts navy and ends red is a home comeback. Those are the games people remember.
  • No repeated teams. All eight teams in a round are different, so knowing one team's season rules out its rivals.
